Wilderkrans Estate Range Pinotage comes from the Bot River region of South Africa’s Walker Bay, an area known for producing refined, cool-climate expressions of this native varietal. Containing sulfites as the allergen, the wine opens with a clean, rich, and enticing red fruit nose that shows surprising maturity. The palate offers many succulent flavours underpinned by gentle dry tannins, with mulberry, plum, and hints of mocha embraced by light, sweet, spicy oak. It is smooth yet structured, with complexity balanced by freshness and a lingering, dry finish. Alcohol content is 14%, giving depth and concentration without heaviness.
