Wines & Wings' journey so far

Looking for that perfect tipple to accompany your sundowner, a glass of magic to compliment your meal or even that one sip to make all your tensions sink?

Great wines can make great moments and in Malawi we felt we just weren’t getting those choices. So we reached out to our friends down south – South Africa is globally known as one of the top producers of great wines! Teaming up with Under The Influence, we have hand-picked the family companies that are supporting surrounding communities and conservation projects, and that we believe are a cut above the rest! We bring in an incredible array of products from great value wines to craft gins, sophisticated olive oils and those special bottles of bubbly, delivered to your door in Malawi. Not only to your homes, but to the restaurants you visit, the lodges you stay at and the homes of your friends! That way, wherever you are in Malawi (and perhaps further) you can be assured you will have the finest array of sundowners on offer at relatively affordable prices

What are we selling?

We have a selection of wines from some of the more boutique vineyards in South Africa. Bringing you the wines we love because that are delicious and have a story good to tell; for example the Painted Dog wines that help conserve those beautiful creatures as well as making a beautiful sundowner! We wanted to focus on quality products from smaller, family run vineyards that give back to the environment and community that their grapes are grown in, to fit in with our ethos as a company.
Having done plenty of research ourselves, we are always at hand to suggest which wines to order, and what new brands to try based on your previous selections. We hope soon we will be able to host some small wine tastings for those that wish to get to know the selection better and learn a little more about wine.
If you do wish to ever get involved in taking a masterclass on your wine of choice please do let us know and we can arrange this for you.
Along with the wines, we are starting to bring in a selection of gins and whiskeys, as well as some accompaniments such as olive oils, cheeses, condiments and garnishes to pair with your bottle of choice!

The prices are right! We have made exclusive deals with our suppliers to bring in the wine at a much better price than any other whole seller here in Malawi and we don’t charge extortionate mark ups.
We have a membership program that allows you access to even better deals. The more you spend the cheaper the wine gets, and enjoy free bottles, extra goodies and discounts on wine courses and staff training.
We also offer door to door deliveries. Free delivery for bulk orders and our wine club members.
We have an impressive selection of wines. But if there’s a particular wine you are partial to that we aren’t currently bringing in, give us a call or drop us a message/email and we’ll try to add it to our next order especially for you!
When we start our exclusive events you will have first access to these for the all important taste tests and to learn how to pair the wines with various food types.
