Waterford Estate The Jem: from the Stellenbosch region of South Africa, a flagship Bordeaux-style red blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese and Barbera, offering intense aromas of dark berries, plum, cassis, fynbos and subtle spice with layers of chocolate, clove and violet, the palate is full-bodied and structured with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, nuanced minerality and a long, elegant finish, alcohol content around 14 % ABV, contains sulphites.
