Cape of Good Hope Riebeeksrivier Syrah: from the Riebeeksrivier region of the Western Cape, South Africa, a deep ruby-coloured Syrah with a vibrant nose of blackberry, black plum, violet and subtle notes of white pepper, spice and fynbos, the palate is medium- to full-bodied with juicy dark fruit, soft tannins, balanced acidity and a lingering savoury finish, alcohol content around 14 % ABV, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, roasted beef, barbecued meats, hearty stews, or rich mushroom dishes.
