Vilafonté Series M: from the Paarl region of South Africa, a plush Bordeaux‑style red blend driven by Merlot and Malbec with support from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, showing deep garnet hues with enticing aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, blueberry compote, thyme, sage and a hint of cocoa, the palate is juicy yet firm with succulent red and dark fruit, fine satin‑textured tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long, vibrant finish, alcohol content around 14–14.6 % ABV, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb chops, roasted beef tenderloin, beef stew, rich mushroom risotto, or a charcuterie board with aged gouda and hard cheeses.
