Stony Brook The Vineyard The Max from Franschhoek, South Africa, a bold Cape Bordeaux‑style blend composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (approximately 45‑47%), Merlot (around 18‑28%), Cabernet Franc (21%) and Petit Verdot/Malbec depending on vintage, offering intense aromas of caramelised blackberries, cigar box and red pepper, the palate delivers concentrated ripe red and dark fruit framed by firm, well‑integrated tannins, supple oak and a long elegant finish, alcohol content around 14–14.5%, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Excellent with grilled rib‑eye, slow‑roasted venison, hearty beef stews or mature hard cheeses.
