Neethlingshof Shiraz: from the Stellenbosch region of South Africa, a deep ruby-coloured Shiraz with a floral and vibrant nose showing aromas of ripe red apple, black plum and hints of fynbos, lavender, cloves and black peppercorns, the palate is medium- to full-bodied and fruit-forward with flavours of black cherry, black plum, liquorice and a touch of toasted coconut, balanced acidity, soft tannins and a smooth, lingering finish, alcohol content around 14 % ABV, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Pairs beautifully with grilled steaks, roasted lamb, spicy sausages, hearty stews, or aged hard cheeses.
