MOSI FLAVIAN Syrah

Mosi Flavian Syrah 2022: from Riebeek Kasteel in the Western Cape, South Africa, a dry, light and elegant Syrah from a 20-year-old single trellised block on shale soil, showing aromas of leather, spice, white pepper and earthy notes, the palate is medium-bodied with subtle tannins, soft dark fruit, and a smooth, refined finish, matured 18 months in 1st, 2nd and 3rd fill barrels, alcohol content around 13.5 % ABV, contains sulphites.

Food pairings: Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, roasted meats, earthy mushroom dishes, peppered sausages or soft-aged cheeses.
