Vilafonté Seriously Old Dirt: from Paarl, South Africa, a Bordeaux-style red blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, offering deep aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry layered with graphite, tobacco and warm spice, the palate is structured yet approachable with fine tannins, balanced oak, savoury depth and a long polished finish, alcohol content around 14.5 % ABV, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Pairs beautifully with prime beef, slow roasted lamb, venison, rich braised dishes or earthy mushroom and truffle-based plates.
